Technically speaking there is not supposed to be any
difference in tablet and desktop PC versions of windows 7 and 8. There was a
difference in windows xp versions for two devices but in windows 7, an option
was given to choose touch screen device if you have or if you are running it in
a touch screen device like Quaduro tablet PC, touch screen device running windows
operating system. Windows 8 was even designed while keeping mobility in mind
and for the ease in touch screen devices like tablet i.e. Quaduro tablet PCs.
If you are researching on the difference between
the user end of these two versions of windows then you may not find any
difference whereas there is a difference in technical side like the difference
in x86 and x64 versions of software. This difference is due to the difference
in processor architecture.
